Tungsten Alloy Dart Shaft

Tungsten Alloy Dart Shaft Picture

1. What's Tungsten Alloy Dart Shaft?
Tungsten alloy dart shaft is key dart component connecting the barrel and flight, securing the flight, maintaining flight stability, and contributing to the overall weight and center-of-gravity distribution. CTIA's tungsten alloy dart shaft uses tungsten as the base material with nickel-iron or nickel-copper as binder phases and is produced through powder metallurgy. Its high density allows additional effective mass within a limited shaft size, enabling a more compact design while maintaining structural strength and helping adjust the overall flight characteristics of the dart.

2. Features of CTIA's Tungsten Alloy Dart Shaft
(1) High Density, Compact Shaft: Density is typically 13.9–18.5 g/cm³, higher than common aluminum alloys and plastics. The shaft can therefore be made smaller at the same weight requirement, making it suitable for compact dart structures.
(2) Concentrated Mass, Flexible Center-of-Gravity Adjustment: The shaft itself contributes to the dart's overall weight and can adjust mass distribution through its length, diameter, and structural parameters, working with the barrel and flight to change the dart's center of gravity.
(3) High Strength, Good Impact Resistance: High strength and hardness help maintain structural stability during throwing, landing, and collisions between darts, reducing bending and deformation.
(4) Dimensional Stability, Precision Assembly: Precision machining helps maintain good dimensional consistency, while stable thread, mounting-end, and flight-interface dimensions facilitate dart component assembly.

3. Applications of CTIA's Tungsten Alloy Dart Shaft
(1) Professional Darts: Used in professional darts with high requirements for overall weight, center of gravity, and flight stability.
(2) Training Darts: Used in training darts, with shaft length and weight adjusted to suit different overall dart configurations.
(3) Recreational Darts: Used in recreational darts for bars, clubs, homes, and other leisure settings.
(4) Customized Darts: Used in customized dart products with specific weight, dimensional, or assembly requirements.
