1. What's Tungsten Alloy Golf Counterweight?
Tungsten alloy golf counterweight is balance weight component designed for golf clubs, typically containing 90%–97% tungsten with nickel, iron, or copper as binder phases and produced through powder metallurgy. CTIA's tungsten alloy golf counterweight combines high density and compact size, allowing relatively large mass to be concentrated within the limited space of a clubhead. It is mainly used to adjust the clubhead's center of gravity, increase Moment of Inertia (MOI) and forgiveness, and improve shot stability, distance control, and feel, while offering non-toxic, wear-resistant, and dimensionally stable characteristics.

2. Features of CTIA's Tungsten Alloy Golf Counterweight
(1) High Density, Compact Counterweighting: Density is typically 16.5–18.8 g/cm³, significantly reducing volume at the same weight and allowing installation in narrow areas at the bottom or perimeter of the clubhead.
(2) Precise and Controllable Center-of-Gravity Distribution: Shape and installation position can be designed to precisely lower or move the center of gravity rearward, optimizing clubhead performance.
(3) Dimensional Stability: Coefficient of thermal expansion of approximately 4.4–5.5×10⁻⁶/K limits dimensional changes under temperature variations, helping maintain long-term accuracy during use.
(4) High Strength, Wear and Impact Resistance: High tensile strength and hardness of approximately 24–35 HRC enable the counterweight to withstand repeated impact from ball striking and provide long service life.
(5) Non-Toxic, Safe Material: The material is non-toxic and safe for long-term use in sports equipment.

3. Applications of CTIA's Tungsten Alloy Golf Counterweight
(1) Putters: Installed at the bottom, heel, or toe of the clubhead to change local mass distribution and improve clubhead stability and directional control.
(2) Drivers and Fairway Woods: Positioned inside or at the bottom of the clubhead to adjust the height and front-to-back position of the center of gravity by changing the counterweight location, optimizing clubhead performance.
(3) Irons: Embedded inside or at the bottom of the clubhead to distribute clubhead mass appropriately and help control center-of-gravity position and shot characteristics.
(4) Wedges and Specialty Clubs: Localized mass is configured according to the clubhead structure to refine weight distribution for different situations such as chipping, pitching, and bunker shots.
(5) Adjustable Counterweight Systems: Removable or movable structures allow flexible adjustment of clubhead weight and center of gravity by replacing counterweights or changing their installation positions.
(6) Customized and Modified Golf Clubs: Counterweights are designed according to clubhead dimensions, target weight, and center-of-gravity parameters for personalized modifications to professional and amateur golf clubs.
