1. What's Tungsten Alloy Disc Counterweight?
Tungsten alloy disc counterweight is high-specific-gravity, disc-shaped counterweight component made primarily of tungsten with nickel, iron, or copper as binder-phase. CTIA's tungsten alloy disc counterweight uses high density of tungsten alloy and can be installed at designated positions through embedding, fastening, or integrated assembly to add local mass within limited space, adjust the center of gravity, and improve component balance.

2. Features of CTIA's Tungsten Alloy Disc Counterweight
(1) High Density and Small Volume: Density is typically 16.5–18.8 g/cm³. Under the same mass the required volume is smaller, enabling concentrated mass configuration within limited installation space.
(2) Disc Structure with Flexible Installation: The disc structure facilitates embedding into slots, mounting surfaces and reserved counterweight positions. Mass can also be adjusted by stacking multiple discs.
(3) Concentrated Mass for Precise Counterweighting: Greater mass can be provided within smaller dimensions. Local mass distribution and center of gravity can be changed by adjusting single-piece weight, quantity used and installation position.
(4) Relatively High Strength for Dynamic Loads: Offers relatively high strength and wear resistance, capable of withstanding loads generated by vibration, impact and rotation during mechanical component operation, suitable for counterweighting of motion and rotating components.
(5) Low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion for Dimensional Stability: Coefficient of thermal expansion is typically about 4.5–6.0×10⁻⁶/°C. Dimensional change under temperature variation is small, helping maintain stable installation position and counterweight state of the disc.

3. Applications of CTIA's Tungsten Alloy Disc Counterweight
(1) Automotive and Racing: Used in crankshafts, flywheels, hubs and other components. By increasing local mass or changing counterweight position, mass distribution and operational stability of rotating components are improved.
(2) Aerospace: Used in flight control components, rotors, gyroscopes and inertial navigation equipment. By precisely configuring mass, center of gravity, moment of inertia and attitude characteristics of motion components are regulated.
(3) Precision Instruments: Used in gyroscopes, measuring instruments, optical equipment and precision rotating mechanisms. By controlling local mass and installation position, the influence of imbalance on measurement accuracy and motion stability is reduced.
(4) Robotics and Automation Equipment: Used in servo motors, rotating joints and motion actuators. By adjusting component mass distribution, motion inertia and center-of-gravity position are optimized to improve operational smoothness of the mechanism.
(5) Industrial Equipment: Used in motor rotors, centrifuges, fans, pumps and high-speed rotating equipment. By compensating mass deviation of rotating components, vibration and eccentricity during operation are reduced to improve equipment running stability.
(6) Golf and Sports Equipment: Used as embedded counterweights at positions such as golf club heads and putter bottoms. By changing local mass position, club center of gravity, swing inertia and impact stability are regulated.
(7) Watches and Micro Mechanisms: Used in mechanical watch rotors, micro motion mechanisms and other small components. By concentrating mass configuration, moment of inertia and motion characteristics are changed within limited space.
