1. What's Tungsten Alloy Rotor Counterweight?
Tungsten alloy rotor counterweight is tungsten alloy balance weight used in rotor systems for helicopters, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and other aircraft. It typically contains 90%–97% tungsten as the main constituent, with nickel-iron or nickel-copper binder phases, and is produced through powder metallurgy. CTIA's tungsten alloy rotor counterweight combines high density, high strength, wear and corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability, and can be positioned in rotor blades, hubs, and other rotating components according to specific mass-balancing requirements to adjust local mass distribution and center of gravity, correct rotational imbalance, and reduce vibration.

2. Features of CTIA's Tungsten Alloy Rotor Counterweight
(1) High Density, Compact Counterweight: Density of approximately 16.7–18.8 g/cm³ allows substantial mass to be concentrated within limited installation space, making it suitable for space-constrained locations such as inside rotor blades and hubs.
(2) High Weight Accuracy, Easy Balance Correction: Precision machining controls individual weight, dimensions, and center-of-gravity position, allowing counterweight mass to meet the requirements of rotor dynamic balancing.
(3) High Strength, Resistance to Rotational Loads: Tensile strength can reach 700–1200 MPa, enabling the counterweight to withstand centrifugal loads, vibration, and cyclic stresses generated during high-speed rotation.
(4) Low Thermal Expansion, Stable Fit: With a coefficient of linear thermal expansion of approximately 4.5–6.0 × 10⁻⁶/K, the counterweight shows limited dimensional change with temperature, helping maintain its designed position and fit in rotor assemblies.
(5) Wear and Corrosion Resistance, Complex-Environment Adaptability: High hardness and good wear resistance enable the counterweight to withstand rotor operating environments involving moisture, salt spray, rainwater, and oils.
(6) Non-Magnetic Material Option, Reduced Magnetic Interference: W-Ni-Cu is non-magnetic and can be used in rotor systems equipped with magnetically sensitive sensors, reducing the influence of the counterweight on the surrounding magnetic environment.
(7) Good Machinability, Irregular Structural Options: Turning, milling, grinding, drilling, and thread machining can be performed to produce counterweight blocks, rods, rings, curved components, and irregular parts.

3. Applications of CTIA's Tungsten Alloy Rotor Counterweight
(1) Helicopter Main Rotors: Used in main rotor blades, blade roots, hubs, and related components to correct mass differences and rotational imbalance and reduce rotor vibration.
(2) Helicopter Tail Rotors: Used in tail rotor blades, blade roots, hubs, and related components to adjust mass distribution and center-of-gravity position and improve rotational balance.
(3) Military and Civil Aircraft: Used in propeller aircraft, turboprop aircraft, and other rotating blade systems for mass configuration and dynamic balancing of blades, blade roots, and hubs.
(4) UAV Rotors: Used in the blades, blade roots, and hubs of multirotor, single-rotor, and compound-wing UAVs to correct dynamic imbalance, reduce rotational vibration, and improve flight stability.
(5) Tiltrotor Aircraft: Used in tiltrotor blades, hubs, and rotating assemblies to adjust mass distribution and center-of-gravity position for dynamic balancing.
